Josie Eller

Welcome!  Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Josie Eller:  aspiring bakery owner and food enthusiast extraordinaire.  Contrary to popular belief, my background is in biological science (not art), and I am currently finishing my undergraduate biology degree at JMU (I must and WILL finish!).  I enjoy all aspects of food, from reading food blogs (and now writing one) and collecting cookbooks; to cooking, baking, and experimenting in the kitchen.  Few things are more delicious to me than warm, soft, complex carbohydrates.  Some of my favorite foods include:  biscuits, butternut squash, brussels sprouts, potatoes (in all forms), chocolate cake, and horseradish.  While dislikes include:  fennel, anise, bleu cheese, dried herbs (parsley flakes are the devil), and cottage cheese.  Though my creative culinary and artistic interests are merely a hobby at this point, they are a hobby I am incredibly passionate about and one day hope to make a career out of.  Happy reading!
